Sales Director

Job Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for developing the sales pipeline with a primary focus on Global 2000 companies. Ideal candidates will have a consistent track record of exceeding sales quotas while contributing to the overall success of the team.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 8-10 years of proven sales experience, specifically in the storage software sector
  • A successful sales background in selling VERITAS NetBackup, EMC Legato Networker, or IBM Tivoli storage products
  • Experience and a successful track record in building out the VAR channel
  • Exceptional relationship with existing VERITAS NetBackup customer accounts
  • Proven, consistent track record of exceeding assigned quota and establishing new accounts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self directed leader who will thrive in a small company environment
  • Very high integrity and ability to work with a team
