Senior Sales Engineer/SE

Position Title: Senior Sales Engineer

Location: Central or Eastern region of U.S.

Travel: 5% to 10%

Job Responsibilities

You will partner with our Account Executives in a pre-sales technical role. This will include explaining product features and benefits to both technical and non-technical audiences and then designing and configuring creative solutions tailored to customer needs. You will give persuasive presentations and product demonstrations showcasing APTARE product solutions and be an integral part of closing deals. This will allow you to use your technical expertise of the storage software space and interpersonal skills to support the sales process in all ways to bring the sales cycle to a positive conclusion

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Sales Engineer in a pre-sales environment
  • A history of demonstrating the benefits of complex software products to prospective customers
  • Ability to ask the right questions to identify customer “pain points” and develop creative solutions to address them
  • Deep knowledge of the storage software space and experience with Veritas Netbackup, EMC Legato Networker, IBM Tivoli TSM storage products
  • Experience with SRM (storage reporting and management) software is highly desirable
  • Experience presenting remote demos using web conferencing tools
  • BS in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
