Rick has more than 20 years of leadership experience in the enterprise software industry. He founded APTARE in 1993 with the sole purpose of developing scalable web-based applications for large enterprises. As CEO, Rick is responsible for setting the strategic vision and direction of the company. Previously Rick served as chief information officer for Sanrise, a leading storage service provider, where he was responsible for the strategic direction of the company’s solutions. Rick holds several patents covering web-based architectures for enterprises.
Rick holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Auckland University, New Zealand.
Machell is responsible for the day-to-day operations and the financial accounting for the company. She brings over 15 years of experience as a financial executive in high technology. Prior to APTARE, Machell worked as a Certified Public Accountant with expertise in tax and audit.
Machell received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Economics from The University of California at Santa Barbara.
Robert is responsible for the development and growth of APTARE's strategic business partnerships. He has over 30 years of experience working with leading technology companies including IBM, Hitachi Data Systems and Sun Microsystems. Robert has been a member of the board of directors for both public and private corporations, and has been instrumental in developing business strategies and partnerships throughout his career.
Robert earned his MBA degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina.
Graeme is responsible for leading all aspects of product development and professional services at APTARE. He has extensive experience developing solutions for enterprises around the globe. Prior to joining APTARE, Graeme was vice president of services for Annuncio Software. There he built and managed the engineering team responsible for customizing and implementing their enterprise email solution. Graeme also served as a senior engineering executive at PeopleSoft after the acquisition of Annuncio in 2002. Graeme was also part of the services senior management team at Plexus Software and Hewlett Packard.
Graeme holds a degree in Computer Sciences from Glasgow University, Scotland
Rich is a software industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience in enterprise data management, data protection and data compliance reporting. Rose joined APTARE, in 1996 as a product manager and is the product guru working with sales on global business opportunities and implementations. Previously Rich worked with VERITAS defining strategy and managing engineering resources to drive revenue and expand market reach. Rich propelled the product team from an emerging start-up to a global leader of enterprise storage management solutions. Rich joined VERITAS from CBS Sportsline.com, a leading provider of sports internet content. At Sportsline, Rich was the manager of worldwide operations, where he grew the organization's technical capabilities to be among the top 10 internet sites in the world. Prior to Sportsline, Rich was the president and founder of Next Generation Computers, Inc.
Rick is responsible for driving the revenue growth of APTARE worldwide sales channels. He has over 20 years experience managing enterprise sales organizations comprising direct, inside, channel and field marketing teams. Prior to APTARE, Rick served as vice president of sales for Palamida where he was instrumental in building global relationships and expanding the company's enterprise customer base. He also held executive sales positions at InfoGain, Segue Software, IBM/Rational and Hewlett Packard.
Rick holds an MBA from the University of Illinois and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Michigan State University.
Walt is responsible for driving the overall marketing program for APTARE, increasing exposure and driving leads worldwide. He has over 18 years of experience building marketing programs focused on customer acquisition and driving customer revenue growth. Prior to APTARE, Walt helped local businesses increase their online visibility on search engines at MerchantCircle, and helped eBay sellers grow their business by launching new educational and marketing programs.
Walt holds a JD from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Cal Poly SLO.
