APTARE CAPITALIZES ON EUROPEAN SALES GROWTH WITH LAUNCH OF NEW EUROPEAN PRESENCE
Industry Veterans Spearhead European Business Development
CAMPBELL, Calif. — November 17, 2011 Enterprise storage resource management leader, APTARE®, Inc., today announced the company is expanding into Europe to work locally with prospective customers, resellers and partners and grow its established business. To help support APTARE's growth trajectory two new leaders, Nigel Houston and Richard Harris, will head up the European team based out of the United Kingdom (U.K.).
Storage industry veteran Nigel Houghton has been appointed Regional Sales Manager for APTARE in EMEA. Nigel most recently served as Enterprise Channel Manager at Quantum where he oversaw strategic relationships with Pan-European resellers and system integrators.
With 20 years of technical sales experience, Richard Harris joins APTARE from EMC where he served as the Technical Services Director for its Data Protection Advisor product in EMEA. Richard has been appointed as the Technical Sales Consultant Manager for APTARE in EMEA.

APTARE's European presence to date has been through partnerships with major OEMs and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) with European operations including Hitachi Data Systems, GlassHouse Technologies, and Bull SAS. The new APTARE European local presence will be responsible for nurturing and growing APTARE's European business by working locally with end users, OEMs, resellers, and MSPs. The addition of the U.K. team will enable this growth to accelerate and provide local support for our partners and customers.
